July 14 - 18, 2008 — "An Arts Adventure…discovering you and me"

"An Arts Adventure" is a five day summer arts camp for children ages six to 10. The camp is open to all children, but we will target children that are not normally able to benefit from, or participage in the arts, including children with disabilities in Pettis County. The arts programs offered in "An Arts Adventure" will reach children in ways where all children will find their own level and discover their own innate abilities and untapped creativity.

There are three primary goals of "An Arts Adventure:"

  1. To improve self-image of children through quality arts in an environment of self discovery;
  2. To build cultural appreciation, respect and cultivate an atmosphere of understanding;
  3. To have fun! To ignite the love of discovery and creativity that each of the children has within them.
