		Please join us for the second annual Collector’s Choice “Collector’s Choice” is a fund raising event to benefit Sedalia’s Liberty Center Association for the Arts. All ticket buyers are guaranteed to leave the event with a piece of original artwork valued between $200 and ($1,350) that they get to choose. Ticket holders & one guest each and donating artists and their guest are invited to the premier event Saturday, February 23, 2008. Ticket holders will have the opportunity to note their favorite artworks and plan their list of choices prior to the drawing of names by Master of Ceremonies Jim Mathewson. The person whose name is announced will select an artwork and tag it with their ticket. All ticket holders get an original piece of art valued between $200 - $1,350. Artwork varies and includes a selection of paintings, photography, sculpture, fiber arts, jewelry, ceramics and other works by area artists. “Collector’s Choice” provides a wonderful opportunity for new collectors to start collecting quality art by local artists at the affordable price of $200 for a ticket. Tickets for “Collector’s Choice” are $200 each for the admission of the ticket buyer and a guest to the private festive affair on February 23, 2008. Only a limited number of tickets will be sold – approximately 55 – and when the tickets are gone, they’re gone. Tickets can be purchased by cash, check, MasterCard or Visa at Liberty Center, 111 West Fifth Street or by calling 660-827-3228. There will be an element of suspense, chance, and luck of the draw as names are drawn and artwork is selected. Plan on an evening of fun and excitement as there will be other twists and turns throughout the affair! Enjoy a fabulous heavy hors d’oeurve buffet, a wine & beer cash bar, and music.” The money raised by “Collector’s Choice” will benefit the Liberty Center Association for the Arts including exhibitions, theater, art classes, community outreach programs, and operations.
